The stay was fantastic! We loved the private onsen in the room and the beautiful views while relaxing. The meals were exceptional, showcasing local delicacies. We visited the Akankohan Eco Museum Center and the Akanko Ainu Theater Ikoro, which were cultural highlights. Highly recommend this place for friends!
One challenge was the restaurant's fixed dinner times. it felt a bit restrictive and could be more flexible for guests.

Couples, this place is magical!
I was amazed by the fine views of the river and forest right from my room! Sitting in the private onsen while gazing at the scenery made me realize this is what relaxation feels like!
It wasn’t a budget stay, but the experience was still worth it!

A Dream Stay with Beautiful River Views
We stayed in a Deluxe Double Room with River View and absolutely loved the private onsen in the room. Having the chance to soak while enjoying the incredible views of the river was such a highlight! The meals were an incredible experience. every bite showcased local delicacies and the freshness of the ingredients. However, it would have been great if the hotel had clearer communication regarding meal timings and availability.

missingWrote a review on 17 Octhassle access
Accessing the room presented a hassle thanks to six steps required to get to the elevator—navigating luggage could be a pain in the neck. Dinner time restrictions can feel off-putting and rigid, especially with the kaiseki dinner only served at specific hours. The public bath, while nice, lacks size and limits family bathing options, offering only small tubs. A must-know, there's a bear warning outside, which makes outdoor exploring a tad daunting.

great views but limited dining options
The river view from my room was truly enchanting, allowing for serene moments as I drank my morning tea. The onsen experience was a highlight, especially the private bath that offered an intimate retreat with beautiful settings. The room was exceptionally cozy with tasteful decor and a great layout for relaxing together with family, allowing us to enjoy quality time.
Dinner options felt a bit repetitive during our stay.

Staying in the Deluxe Triple Room was a unique experience with stunning views of the mountains and river. The spacious layout, with a living area facing the river, enhanced relaxation, especially while soaking in the tub. Breakfast and dinner offered beautifully presented meals that delighted the palate. However, accessing the room required navigating several steps, which was a hassle with large suitcases, and the dinner timings felt restrictive. The public bath was pleasant but smaller than expected, limiting family bathing options together.
